So I just got back from hanging out with Sam and Molly. We went to see christmas lights, and we found Thomas O’Brian. We then went out to eat at Denny’s it was nice.

I worked another 9 hours 45 minutes today so I am finishing off my week at 52ish hours, yay me! Today was just as busy as yesterday…

Happy end of the world to me I guess. I worked 8 hours again today, it was hell I had a headache and was supposed to work longer but I got out early. I work again tomorrow and sunday…and monday. I guess that will make up for it, total of 32 hours clocked this week so far and by the end of this…

This. This reaction, right here shows Snape’s true character. Seriously - lets just think about this for a moment. Snape has just been attacked by his students, who would rather believe in a murderer than in their teacher. Granted, it was the correct choice, but - just remember - who knows better than Severus Snape what Sirius Black is capable of? Because he’s been in the Shrieking Shack before that night. He’s faced this werewolf before, and I have no doubt that this is what terrifies him the most - more than Voldemort, more than the death eaters or his father, or anyone who has ever hurt him, ever - and that includes James, Sirius and Remus - he genuinely fears werewolves. You can’t trick a werewolf. You can’t double cross it, betray it, make it trust you. It’s a werewolf - it’s pure deadly instinct and there is absolutely No Way he could reason with it. His intelligence, his abilities are useless when confronted by this monster. Why do you think he agreed to make Remus’ potion? It wasn’t because Dumbledore asked it of him, and it wasn’t because he wanted to help Remus. It was because he knew what could happen if he didn’t take the opportunity to use his skills to keep himself, and the students, safe. Snape was scared of the possibility of a werewolf wandering the castle grounds once again, because he knows better than anyone that students sneak around at night.  And you can see here, the moment Snape realises what has happened, what they’re faced with - that he is reliving that horrific moment from his school days -  he pushes his students behind him. Not just Harry, who he’s sworn to protect; but Hermione and Ron as well. For no other reason than he is their teacher, and they are his students and even though he is scared, he is fucking terrified - just look at his eyes here, god damn Alan Rickman is perfection in it’s snarkiest form - he still immediately moves to protect the three students. I never thought that Snape had betrayed them, had turned away from the light. How could I, when his true character is shown so clearly in his darkest moments?

Today I’m going to talk about my obsession over brands. What is a brand? A brand is so much more than some pretty logo that graces your product. It is a dream, it is the desire, it embodies all the ideals, of that specific company. It says so much, yet apparently so little. In my quest to find the most beautiful of all kitchen appliances. I stumbled across one that stood out among the rest. JENN - AIR. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this brand it is owned by Whirlpool. While Whirlpool washers are alright, I’m much prefer SAMSUNG, LG, or FRIGIDAIRE. FRIGIAIRE is owned by Electrolux, another brand that stands out among the rest. Anyway Jenn-Air’s products are the highest quality one can get. Not only are they exquisite, but their designs are absolutely outstanding. I was at the Whirlpool head quarters a while back and inside their product room, they had a Jenn - Air fridge with a completely glass finished face. It was gorgeous! I’ll upload a picture of it when I find it. Jenn-Air designs make use of materials, rather than just physical linear design. Different materials give different feels, glass, bamboo, bronze, steel, are all utilized by the company very well. I love cooking. Jenn Air only makes it more fun to cook! :D

Home aficionado Time! :) *Significance of the kitchen. They say the heart of a house is the living room, and the kitchen. Not a surprise. These kitchens and their appliances really embody that ideal.
